San Francisco Maritime Museum

Where: San Francisco, California

Our role: Design and fabrication

The client wanted: To inform their guests about the largest Maritime Park, the many activities of the Museum and tell the rich and colorful story of the San Francisco from native peoples up to today’s active maritime commerce.

New exhibits opening in 2012 in this visitor center in the heart of San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Working in the confins of a 1850’s historic building the exhibition demonstrates how maritime voyages have shaped the physical and cultural landscape of this city, and defined San Francisco’s place in the development of the United States. Our exhibits focus on the multicultural human stories at the center of all maritime activity: opportunity, the desire for wealth, the yearning for freedom, and the love of adventure at the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
