Imperial Valley Desert Museum

Where: Ocotillo, California

WE was selected by the Imperial Valley Desert Museum to develop a 3,000 SF visitor center to create a destination for the local communities and tourists that explores the intersection of human culture, science and the challenges of this extreme landscape. Integrated exhibits will draw connections between modern issues, historical contexts, and the natural world, while dynamic programming will inspire personal relationships with the desert. Meaningful stories of this region will unfold through fun and interactive learning experiences, leading visitors to pursue a deeper understanding of desert life and the benefits of the desert as a valuable resource.

The Presidio, Golden Gate National Park

Where: The Presidio, San Francisco, California

Our role: Experience design services for conceptual design presentation in partnership with WRNS Architects and Chora Creative.

The client wants: To develop a new cultural center and tourist destination on the premier Presidio grounds that is essential to the San Francisco Bay Area community.

The Bridge— A Sustainability Center is a concept proposal for a new cultural institution dedicated to sustainability as an expression of innovation in California.
