The client wanted to work with a creative, knowledgeable team to design and build a dynamic
recreation of an 1870’s coal mining experience. Weldon Exhibits developed an immersive experience by making geologically accurate artificial rockwork, historically accurate ore cart and various props, with stop action mannequins with voices (embedded with AV speakers). The 1870’s Coal Mining Experience comes alive with candle light (special lighting typical of the time period) and surround sound programs including English and Welsh language re-enactment coal mining dialogs.
