Museo Interactivo de Economia
Where: Mexico City, Mexico
Our role: Design and fabrication
The client wanted: The Federal Reserve Bank of Mexico wanted to increase economic literacy for citizens. They renovated a circa 1678 building near Zocolo district to house the new Museum.
WE designed and partially built an award-winning exhibition about economics that started with the fundamentals of “want” verses “need”, that we are all part of economy whether we put the money under the mattress or into a bank. A day in the life of a child showing all the integrities and dependencies of societies provided services. From the impact of economic scarcity to international finance all topics are presented as group interactives. This project greatly benefitted from client led formative and summative evaluation.
