“Commemorating the Centennial of Flight”
Weldon Exhibits created a striking first impression and an all-new look for the museum’s 40,000 square foot renovation commemorating the Centennial of Flight. Rather than present the history of flight from a linear perspective, WE Team chose to utilize the unique and adventurous theme of explorers that made the emergence of flight possible.
Fifteen actual and replicated planes are included in this exciting new exhibit, with a replica of the Wright Flyer as the “Touchstone,” or centerpiece with radiating subject galleries. Each plane is placed in an elaborate object theater, containing audio-visual components and interactive activities which allows the visitor to engage in a completely immersive experience. Guest enjoy taking “selfie” photos everywhere, creating lasting memories
