The largest natural history museum in the Southeastern United States engaged Weldon Exhibits Team to build 70,000 square feet of walk-through dioramas, designed by Gerard Hilferty & Associates, showing the diversity of North Carolina environs, natural treasures, and global connections. These dioramas include fabricated habitats, models, and live specimens.
WE also designed and fabricated “Terror of the South,” exhibit featuring an anAcrocanthosaurus skeleton in pursuit of a fabricated and fleshed-out Pleurocoelus stegosaurus 50’ long x 26’ tall with overhead pterosaurs mechanical mobile.
